On January 11th, in a split second, Lisa Stocker, who I call, have always called, affectionately "Stock" .... passed on and beyond to new adventures ... I think of her as my longest and thus 'best' friend, but this is only one part of her incredible legacy ... that she had the capacity and the gift of heart to let each of us believe that we were of course, the 'best friend', and that she was ours ... the truth is, she succeeded! But Stock, my friend, would want us to celebrate this day, and I know that my sister would want very much for me to share this song in tribute to your journey, and your testament and witness ... above all, your 'witness' on this earth ... may you continue to guide us now as you have before, from backyard decks and beacons .... the light that you will continue to show us all ...

Travis (mp3 instrumental) In a hurry, I tried to put together a tribute before I left for New York ... understandably, there are many elements and graphics which could be present here to fill in the palette ... so I am hoping that each of you who know her as part of you will forward whatever comes to you in mind or heart as an offering of the life that has so sustained our hearts during the most incredible and exacting circumstances in our own lives when she was there to listen, to give us the support we needed to keep believing in the goal of this path .... to contribute to the world and the lives of those around us in a way that we alter their experiences ... what follows is Grant us Grace, a prayer that Lisa wrote for an Easter Passion Presentation last year ... a first attempt at an inter-denominational 'internet' chapel service if you will ... we had both hoped it would grow in future years and be the design it was intended to become ... perhaps it is enough though, this Prayer for all seasons, to keep the torch going .... PRAYERS, PRAISE & PROMISES - CALL TO CONSCIOUSNESS 2005 .... You had no idea you were writing this prayer for a different occasion altogether, as I, too did not quite 'get' this meaning and Call in time ... I thought I was composing a Passion presentation for a different season, but as it is your favorite I recall, here we are ... and here it is ... A "Call" ....
